In addition to the focus on courses such as Protestant theology with the prospect of a vicariate at the EKBO, other disciplines are also welcome. Discover an environment that supports you in your studies and gives you space for personal development.
The Johanneum Foundation
The Johanneum Foundation was founded in 1869 by Count Leopold Sedlnitzky von Choltiz and is a non-profit student residence that primarily offers theology students an affordable home in the immediate vicinity of the theological faculty of the Humboldt University of Berlin.
Our aim is not only to subsidize housing, but also to promote the academic education of the house community and encourage independent work. This is a place for exchange, where democratic values are lived and personalities are developed - especially for people who want to be successful in academic theology or in church practice.

Are you interested?
Are you curious and enjoy living with other people? Do you want to get involved and help shape our house life? Then we look forward to receiving your application. The management of the house and a committee of residents select suitable candidates for the summer and winter semesters.
